DANBURY, Connecticut – March 17, 2016 – In recognition of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, Western Connecticut Health Network, in conjunction with Ann’s Place, will sponsor a roundtable discussion on the most recent updates in the treatment of colorectal cancer. The program will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Ann’s Place, 80 Saw Mill Road in Danbury. Cancer survivors, caregivers and health care professionals are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
The featured roundtable speakers will be:
- Vincent Rella, M.D., Medical Oncologist
- Stuart Bussell, M.D., Colorectal Surgeon
- Daniel O’Brien, M.D . , Gastroenterologist
- Shannon Morrill-Cornelius, CGC, Genetic Counselor
- A survivor of colorectal cancer
A question and answer session follows the speaker presentations and there will be literature and educational materials made available from the American Cancer Society.
