Treasure House Birthday Celebration

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT - May 10, 2016 - The Women’s Board of Norwalk Hospital celebrated the 55th birthday of the Treasure House, the thrift shop they operate at 5 Isaacs Street in Norwalk. This popular shop has invited generations of men and women inside to browse, chat, shop and relax. 

Pictured cutting the cake at the recent celebration, are Woman’s Board President Carol Kachmarck, right, who is joined by, from left, Seamus Collins, vice president of development, Amy Schafrann, hospital trustee, and Carol Bauer, volunteer chaplain and former chairman of the Board of Trustees.

During the celebration, Carol Kachmarck presented a tribute to Carol Bauer, who was honored by the Woman’s Board for her many years of support. Mrs. Kachmarck also thanked hospital officials and praised the members of the Woman’s Board who voluntarily operate the Treasure House to help raise funds to support the interest and work of Norwalk Hospital.
